The beginning of the loss of coal's competitive edge in 1994 has culminated in KY going from Blue to pink and now red in both legislative chambers and the Administration.

It will be interesting to watch what happens to eastern Kentuckians that helped to color KY red, when the legislature passes medical liability review panels, right-to-work laws, charter schools and restrictions on abortions.

I never got any actual numbers, but If I were running and it was close we would be recounting.

A 16 year State Rep almost unseated by a relative unknown. Rick better step his game up in helping Harlan County.
