Are we voting on who should get it, or who HSJ will appoint?

I voted for the one I hope gets it. I hope the one that HJ wants doesn't win but I have a suspicion he will. Too much money involved.

The question is "who do you think will be appointed"...

I voted for who I thought Henry would appoint.

Little chirping birds are saying that Wendy Flannery will be appointed very soon. It's my understanding he has until Friday.

I'm glad it went to someone who works there. She had better saddle up her bloomers because they will be running for her office in the spring.

Stan had no chance of being appointed yet people voted for him not understanding instructions. Just as the county did with the Tiger Grant.

No chance? Not even a slim chance? Or a fat chance? On second thought, you're probably right--I had no chance.... :D

Here's a copy of the email I just received after asking for clarification on Monday's test:

In follow up to Monday’s special circuit court clerk’s examination in Harlan County, please be advised that any person who passed the examination will be certified to the Harlan county clerk and the Kentucky Secretary of State as eligible to appear on the ballot for the election to fill the remainder of the unexpired term. Re-testing is not required.

Any person who did not pass may register for the examination in December being given to any persons wishing to appear on the ballot. Registration information is located here: http://courts.ky.gov/clerkexam/Pages/default.aspx.

I hope this information will be helpful. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
