His charges tend to be on the lower end, but by escaping he raised them a notch.

This guy seems to skate through the system from time to time unscathed... Maybe he is an important part of something... How do we know he wasn't (wink) released from custody..? Maybe he is a CI... Maybe he is on a case is the reason all law enforcement claim not to be looking for him... Maybe they already know where he is...

A state inmate walks away from work detail in Harlan County. It happened days ago, but neighbors said they found out the prisoner ran away - days after the fact!

Jailer Curtis Stallard declined our request for an on-camera interview. But he did say he notified the county's dispatch when this happened.

Jail officials do not believe Cloud poses an immediate threat.

Can we get confirmation of this? Also it's funny to read that the jailer and two of their staff was up in the mtns until 6am. Id say we are lucky that we aren't reporting the jailer, and two employees missing in the woods.

It does make it seem suspicious that the public wasn't notified. If it were me I would make it job number one to make sure his ass was caught, so no one else thinks about trying to escape.

Anyone willing to wager that he will not be (Publicly) questioned by anyone from Fiscal Court with regards to the escaped convict, and why he don't want the public to be informed. Yet they vote to increase his budget even thought many previous arrestable offenses are now handled by citation.

Who ever is assessing these prisoners isn't doing a very good job.
