Thanksgiving Day is almost here. It’s the only holiday that belongs exclusively to native Americans and those that have emigrated making America the most unique nation on the planet. An America that has become strong and sufficient for many generations.

Thanksgiving, a time of celebration that began with a end of harvest feast when native Americans joined those from distant shores, to share and give thanks for the new world they were experiencing.

We Americans have much to be Thankful for. We can travel coast to coast and enjoy all the natural beauty that generations before us, in their wisdom, set aside for us to appreciate and enjoy. America the beautiful, just one of the many things we can be thankful for.

Wishing everyone a happy, fulfilled Thanksgiving celebration!

If you happen to spend Thanksgiving in Plymouth Massachusetts this year, you can choose between two public commemorations. You can watch the official parade, in which townspeople dressed like pilgrims march to Plymouth Rock bearing blunderbusses and beating drums. Or you can stand on the top of Coles Hill with indigenous people and their supporters and fast in observance of what they call a “national day of mourning” in remembrance of the destruction of Indian culture and peoples.

That would be a sight to see.
