I've never seen more than one or two ticks on me at a time, nor on anyone else. I've never seen them other than being on humans or dogs. I was at Kingdom Come State park this past weekend and saw swarms of them. 1000s were crawling on the ground (like ants) trees and foliage. Although they didn't attach themselves to us, people were dusting them off their clothes. I had never seen anything like that before. I've learned what I could have witnessed may have been "seed" ticks. If you're out in the woods you may want to make sure you have repellent.
ewwww, bugs are bad, bugs in your skin

My hubby found one on him last night!! I was freaked out and made him lay down so I could check him again! I hate ticks! Like you, I have never seen or heard or anything like that... thanks for the heads up!
