Scared coons are vicious and most of the time the dog will be the one injured from what I remember. Coons are expert swimmers and I have heard daddy talk about a coon drowning a dog. I don't like the idea at all because of both animals but it used to be a big sport in my child hood days.

I'm up for this! If there is anyway I can be of help, just let me know. I am already a member and plan to re-up when my membership comes due. I really hate to hear about Mr. Davidson though. I've only met him a couple times but I think a lot of him.

Great! I love all of the responses for this. I'm actually sitting down with some people today to start planning this out. Work schedules conflicted or I would have already had more information. Ok.. Would you all like to see pistols, shotguns and rifles? .22s of course will be a match of their own. For the record. This is my 150th post. Yay me!

An archery range, maybe adjacent to the shooting range, would be an excellent idea. Both the high schools have archery teams now (I think) so it should be well utilized.

I am forever in fear of making a long range shot. The places around here that you can do it makes me nervous because of the multiple ways in to where i am at. You just never know who is going to happen up on the wrong end.
