Only because he couldn't veto it, as his veto would have been over ridden by Congress. It's notable that Trump hasn't used his twitter thumbs, or his giant microphone to announce it.

You are a complete mess. If he had veto'd it you would have been screaming he's bed buddies with Putin.

You think the Republican Senate doesn't know Trump is in bed with Putin? They do. It's why the passed the bill with a 97 to 2 vote to make it veto proof.

Today Trump disbanded the two business councils groups he allegedly formed to work toward building America's businesses, and improving our economy. lost the support of America's top business executives.

This happened after several top corporate CEO's resigned from the councils, in protest of Trump's blaming 'many sides' for the racial division that has precipitated increasing violence across America. Most recently in Charlottesville.

Many organizations that form to correct various injustices have been hi-jacked by people with political motivations, serving political agenda's that don't necessarily have the original purpose of the organization as it's focus. I believe this is what became of BLM & maybe others.

However that is not what happened with Neo-Nazi's, the revived KKK and other white militia groups in America. These groups were formed for the sole purpose of advancing white supremacy, based on the hatefilled belief that all other races are inferior.

When your President says that 'many many sides' are to blame for today's racial violence, he completely ignores the fact that if one of these 'many, many' groups he speaks of, didn't have a well known history of violent torture, hangings and murders of African Americans, Jews and Eastern European gypsies, no other group would need to organize to fight their hate filled agendas.

Your President may continue to lie to protect and cover for the racial hatred within his base support, but a significant number of America's CEO's refuse to be a part of it.

Trump deserves to lose their support. At least can no longer claim he has the support of America's legitimate business community. Though no doubt 'lying Donald' will continue to try.

Every now and then someone explains an event with such clarity, there's nothing left to say. This is the case with a New York Times book reviewer about how Trump won the confidence of his base;

"He sold his shamelessness as fearlessness and his charlatanism as charisma, and people believed," ~ Bret Stephens, NY Times

Those that exposed Hillary Clinton's describing some of Trump supporters as 'a basket of deplorables', were right to expose her uninformed perception, but for the wrong reasons.

Her comment gave the press an opportunity to clarify why Trump's shameless words were perceived as fearless, and expose his historical contradictions. Instead the media focused on what Trump & Clinton was saying, not why. That's not journalism.

It's sensationalism meant to raise ratings. Never mind that they were deepening partisan divides. Never mind that they abdicating their responsibility of true journalism that investigates and verifies all sides, and simply presents. Leaving their listeners and readers to form their own opinions.

I certainly don't agree with Trump supporters. But I understand completely how they were manipulated. Unfortunately it's gotten worse, not better.

Michelle Obama hit the nail on the head saying 'The Presidency doesn't change who you are, it defines who you are'.

I listened to a talk radio host this morning. This radio talk show host started his show asking ‘liberal’ callers to explain why they hate Trump. It’s a good question, so I listened to about half of the program before boredom sat in, after realizing the host asked the question to pontificate about how ‘other Presidents did the same or worse’.

Liberals largely don’t hate the POTUS. Though there are some that do. People that bear animosity for Trump have deep feelings of respect for the Office of the President. That Office holds the largest microphone in the world.

Trump has abused the use of that microphone. His irresponsible adolescent antics, taunting dangerous people such as North Koreas despotic leader, further threatens the security of our nation and untold millions of lives elsewhere.

Trumps propensity to deflect legitimate criticism, never apologizing for his divisive hyperbole and lies, is unnerving to decent people that hold truth sacred.

Liberals don’t hate Trump. They hate his hypocrisy and mediocre intellect. They hate that he is unable to fill the shoes of a world leader. They hate that Trump is using his office to further enrich the top 1% of earners, while attempting to attacking the most economically vulnerable in our nation. They hate that this President displays contempt for women and minorities in general. Liberals don’t dislike Trump because he is ‘conservstive’ because he isn’t. Other than appointing a conservative Judge to SCOTUS, he has done nothing that reflects ‘conservstive’ values.

One of the most devasting actions of the Trump supported tax reform bill (if passed) will hurt the small farmer, putting many of them out of business. Small farmers unable to deduct interest payments on farm equipment means less annual income on already razor thin profit margins. Small farmers are not alone in losing with the Republican sponsored tax reform bill. Everyone, except the billionaire class, will pay dearly for the 1.5 Trillion budget deficit, when the short lived ‘economic boom’ is over. We’ve seen this before. It’s always the Working & Middle Class that eventually receives the tax increases needed to keep government afloat. That’s why true conservatives that want automatic tax increases across the board to pay down deficits were defeated. What wasn’t and won’t be defeated is the temporary individual tax relief and the permanent corporate tax relief. Those are the obvious horns of the devil in the details.

These are concrete and legitimate reasons to strongly dislike the Trump Presidency.

What’s Trump done that’s so great?

Both Paul Ryan & Mark Rubio have said cutting ‘Entitlements’ will make up for the more than Trillion Dollar Deficit, Trump’s Tax Reform (that gives 80% of it's benefits to the country’s wealthiest top 1%).

Entitlements are Medicare, Social Security, VA benefits. Not food stamps, Medicaid and HUD subsidies that help the poor and working class, although those will certainly be cut as well.

“We’re going to have to get back next year at entitlement reform, which is how you tackle the debt and the deficit,” House speaker Paul Ryan said during a radio interview earlier this month. Vanity Fair 12/11/17

I guess if you’re one of the top 1% of the wealthiest in our nation, Trump is doing great things.

I’m one of the little people that get to constantly hear Trump’s braggadocio about his ‘greatness’. He can barely get through a day without telling the world just how awesome & great he is.

He’s so great he thinks it’s funny to mock Bernie Sanders saying Sanders would run for President ‘even if he’s in a wheel chair’.

If Trump knew anything about true greatness of almost anything including U.S. President’s, he would know what he said about Bernie Sanders running for President in 2020 ‘even if he was in a wheelchair’ was neither great or funny.

He would know a truly great U.S. President that won the only third term in history to serve our country was Franklin D. Roosevelt. A man paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair when elected for a third term.

If Trump knew anything about greatness, he would know mocking disabled people and hurting the most economically vulnerable because you can isn’t great. It’s pathetically cruel.
