The Bears have a psychological advantage by beating the Dragons three times this year. Not to mention a size advantage. We know that Brock and Green will get theirs. The Dragons just dont have a answer against Gross. it's the playoffs and anything can happen. My money is on HHS. Just a side note. This is the 4th year in a row that the Dragons have made it to the regional finals.

I'm highly impressed that a single A school from Harlan County has represented the 13th region for the fourth year in a row.

Your impressive under the bleachers.

Cameron Carmical has had plenty of big games in four years as a starter for the Harlan County Black Bears. None, however, were more timely than his 31-point performance Saturday afternoon in the 13th Region Tournament semifinals.

Harlan County trailed 10-0 a little over two minutes into the game and was down by as many as 14 in the second quarter before rallying behind the best 3-point shooting night of Carmical’s career. The senior point guard hit seven of eight from behind the line as the Bears rallied for a 59-56 overtime win, earning a spot in Monday’s championship game against Corbin.

Brock's second quarter injury spelled doom for the Dragons.

Their was a huge free throw difference. The other team shot like 30 more.

Is that because Harlan fouled a lot or did the other team have a handicap?

The second quarter injury to Brock changed the tide of the game. She had to sit most of the second quarter with a ankle injury. She went to the bench with a 8 point lead only to return down 2. She ended the game with almost 40 points and didn't even score in the second quarter.

What we have is 6 all state players from Harlan County. This has never happened.

1st Team: Brock, Green
2nd Team: Carmical, Gross
Honorable Mention: King, Spurlock

That's a whole lot of talent from such a small community.
