If they can't build on the land they bought will anyone else be able to? Where else can they build a new school at in Wallins? I don't know that area much so remember that when you are replying.

Oh they can build it there, they just can't build it up with dirt on the river bank... There are in my opinion about umpteen different better places in the area to build... Considering they payed a way inflated price for the land they bought I would think they are probably upside down on it... They paid a quarter million over assessed value of the property... No apparent reason I can think of either, except maybe because they were spending somebody else's money...

Can they add dirt from somewhere else? Will there be a way for the railroad to not be bothered or changed?

Afraid not...

No it was purchased from Bob Bailey Howard... His daughter might have been part owner...

Anybody else anywhere else it would have been about twenty grand... That was at least ten times what it was worth... Wonder who paid for that appraisal..? Average price for farm land is about a thousand an acre... So I'd call it worth sixteen five...

I think that the school board could care less about the students. The furnace at Wallins has been patched several times. You can't fix something that is so old that they no longer make it! They wasted so much money on the new highschool and our children are having to bundle up to stay warm in school. And of course they have to have a new overpriced football field. I would like to know who has been lining their pockets. It's time the people of this county stop putting up with crappy care for their children. Someone has to be held accountable!
